An Egyptian handmade portrait papyrus depicts king Akhenaten. Akhenaten was a Pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt who ruled for 17 years and died perhaps in 1336 BC or 1334 BC. As noticed from the portrait, the era when Akhenaten came was a transitional era of art. The kings were depicted in a special way to reflect their power and greatness.
