Oriental Natural Silk Carpet with Boteh Design is hand-woven by creative Egyptian Hands in our workshops located at the heart of Cairo. A carpet is Hand-knotted with Natural silk material that is featured with its soft and pure surface. It is 100% made by mere hands without any intervention of machines. Very accurate creation with a sophisticated pattern, each centimeter is made of 100 knots. The fabrics are dyed with natural colors for the best traditional colors mingle. The design of the carpet is made on the same technique of Boteh design. Boteh design was widely found in Iran and India, it was also known as ‘paisley’ or ‘pear’ motif. Boteh was the design of a cluster of leaves of either pine or palm. It was shaped in a curvilinear or rectilinear style. Boteh is one common pattern among oriental carpets designs; it is categorized under All-Over design, that to repeat the same pattern again and again.
Easy wash carpet, you can either wash it using carpets’ shampoo or dry wash only. The carpet is made with a heavy pile for the softest experience you will have on your foot. It can be used even in the highest traffic areas. A perfectly carpet is sized in 2x3 feet (60x90 cm) without the fringes.
